Sanchez Energy (SN) proved to be the largest detractor during the quarter, falling over 30 percent and costing the Fund 40 basis points of performance. Although the company issued $300 million in senior notes during the quarter for an acquisition that doubled its Eagle Ford Shale acreage, there appeared to be no fundamental reason for the decline.
